As a writer, editor, photographer, television researcher and television producer, Jayne has worked in both specialty and mass-market media organizations.
Jayne has a proven record of success in managing the media relations needs of individuals, organizations and events. This, combined with her journalism experience, gives her extensive knowledge of recognizing and developing stories to increase publicity for clients. She enjoys the challenge of finding great stories within subject areas that customarily receive little exposure. She has a wide range of interests and has experience in a diversity of subject areas including current affairs, social causes, health, and sports. As a media relations representative she has had a flare for, and a history of, increasing coverage of otherwise low-profile subjects. During five seasons of producing segments for CBC Newsworld's 'Sports Journal' series, Jayne co-produced a Gemini-nominated segment. Her work in television has included research for coverage of live events and in-depth documentaries; field production for sports features, documentaries and news; documentary script writing; and short-form documentary production. Hundreds of Jayne's articles have been published in both North America and Europe, in specialty magazines, daily and community newspapers, and books.
